Tasks require 10 items to complete, unless otherwise noted.The number of tasks completed so far during the day and your current daily limit are visible at the top of the Quest Log.At some places a Tasks Collection Box (typically adjacent to the Bulletin Board) replaces the Task-master.Most tasks on the Bulletin Board will tell you where (i.e.Tasks will begin at the bulletin board and typically end with an NPC located within the same social centre. These bulletin boards are typically found in larger social centres. Where can I find tasks? Tasks are found on bulletin boards throughout Middle-earth. The daily quota can also be reset for 10. What is a quota reset? The task quota resets to zero every day at 3:00 a.m. You can increase your daily task quota to a maximum of 15, either by paying Mithril Coins, or by transferring the tokens from alts. Alternately, you can unlock permanent increases to the maximum quota by clicking the "Increase Task Limit" button in the Quest Log and paying 20 for +1 extra task.

Your quota can be increased to 10 by earning Upgrade Task Limit (+1) tokens from task deeds. All characters begin the game with a quota of five tasks. What is the task quota? Your task quota (or "task limit") is the number of tasks your character can complete per day. Each day each character can complete up to a quota of five tasks. Tasks with a quest level above 50 also award Legendary Experience (IXP). Tasks will always reward players with experience, most will award players with reputation for a particular faction, and will never reward players with coin or items. What is a task? Tasks are repeatable quests using routine trophy drops from monsters (frequently called "vendor trash").
